Details and features of the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro
The MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset powers the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro smartphones. While the X100 Pro only comes in one edition with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, the Vivo X100 is available in two variations: one with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, and the other with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.
The 6.78-inch screen of the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro has an 8T LTPO AMOLED display, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and a brightness of up to 3,000 nits. The fingerprint readers of the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro are integrated into the display. The 32 MP camera on the front of both smartphones is available for taking selfies.
The phones have three cameras installed. A unique periscope zoom camera and a 50MP primary camera are highlights of the X100 Pro. With a 100mm lens in front of a 50MP sensor, this zoom camera is one of a kind and has been certified by Zeiss APO. It also employs the most recent 6nm V3 imaging chip from Vivo and features a 50MP ultrawide lens. The Vivo X100, on the other hand, has the same 15mm ultrawide lens as the X100 Pro, a 70mm zoom lens with a 64MP sensor, and a 50MP wide-angle lens. But it makes use of the V2 imaging chip from the previous year.
The X100 Pro has a 5,400 mAh battery, whereas the Vivo X100 has a 5,000 mAh battery. Curiously, though, the X100 allows fast charging up to 120 W but the X100 Pro, being the Pro model and having a larger battery, only supports fast charging up to 100 W. In our study of the Vivo X100 Pro, we shall disclose the cause of this.
