Tata Punch EV: Tata Launches its Fourth Electric Car with a Range of 421 Km and This Price Tag

Tata Motors is all set to introduce its fourth electric car in the Indian market with the unveiling of the Tata Punch EV. The company has presented this electric SUV with two different battery packs, and the long-range version offers an impressive driving range of up to 421 kilometers on a single charge.

Launch of the Tata Punch EV:

The country’s largest vehicle manufacturer, Tata Motors, has today launched its fourth electric car, the Tata PUNCH EV. With two different battery packs and two distinct powertrains, the company claims that this electric SUV is the safest electric car in the country. The Tata Punch EV, adorned with an attractive design and a powerful battery pack, starts at an introductory price of 10.99 lakh rupees, going up to 14.99 lakh rupees (ex-showroom) for the top variant.

Official bookings for the Tata PUNCH EV have already commenced. Interested customers can book this electric SUV by providing a token amount of 21,000 rupees through the company’s official website or authorized dealerships. The company has initiated test drives for the Tata PUNCH EV starting today, and deliveries are scheduled to begin from January 22, 2024.

Tata Motors has developed the Tata Punch EV on the new Pure EV Architecture (acti.ev), which boasts several significant features. This new architecture includes the provision for multiple battery packs and driving range capabilities. Speaking specifically about the Punch EV, it is presented in both Long Range and Standard Range variants, with the Long Range variant offering 3 trims and the Standard Range variant featuring 5 trims.

The company is equipping this electric SUV with a 3.3 kW capacity wallbox charger. The Tata Punch EV comes with the option of both a sunroof and a non-sunroof variant, providing customers with choices to suit their preferences.

The introduction of the Pure EV Architecture signifies Tata Motors’ commitment to innovation and advanced technology in the electric vehicle space. The inclusion of multiple trims and the option for different ranges caters to a diverse audience, addressing various driving needs and preferences.

Additionally, the provision of a 3.3 kW wallbox charger enhances the charging convenience for Tata Punch EV owners, facilitating a more efficient and user-friendly charging experience.
