Five-door Force Gurkha
While Force Gurkha may not have the same level of popularity as its competitors, in important areas it may even be more capable. Similar to the Mahindra Thar, the Gurkha is a superb off-road vehicle, and Force is also creating a 5-door off-road SUV. The development of this extended version has been ongoing for some time.
Although it has been observed testing on public roads multiple times, its exact launch date is unknown. A 5-door Gurkha test mule was recently spied on once more. Similar to earlier espionage photos, this ones also show a Gurkha test unit that is completely disguised and has an emission testing equipment attached.
Five-door Force Gurkha espionage
According to reports, Gurkha’s newest mule has been spying in Delhi. The boxy silhouette of the 5-door Gurkha is exactly the same as that of its 3-door sister. The future 5-door Gurkha is most likely going to be longer than the existing 4116mm model. The remaining exterior features, such as the round headlamps, the front grille with the Force emblem in the middle, and the taillights, should be comparable to the existing model.
The prototype was observed traveling on machine-cut alloy wheels with five spokes. It also had distinct taillights on each side. Additionally, it had a snorkel, indicating that it will be a typical feature. But there was no luggage rack atop the roof. There was a conventional spare wheel in the tailgate.
5-door Force Gurkha: Anticipated power figures
Regarding engine specifications, the 5-door Gurkha is anticipated to be propelled by the identical 2.6-liter CRDi diesel engine found in its 3-door counterpart. In the latter, this engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and produces a maximum torque of 250 Nm and 90 horsepower. A standard feature will be a part-time 4×4 drivetrain with locking differentials and a low-range transmission.
